“She Leads Universities” at AAST Alexandria – Miami & Abu Qir Campuses

As part of the “She Leads Universities” program activities, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST) in Alexandria hosted an engaging training session on Leadership Skills at its Miami and Abu Qir campuses. The training was delivered by Knowledgeable and presented by Dr. Nayera El Mallah, with strong participation and interaction from students.

The training explored core principles of effective leadership, focusing on self-awareness, identifying personal strengths, and continuously developing them. It also highlighted how students can build strong leadership personalities capable of making a positive impact in both their academic and professional lives.

The day also included an introductory session about the “She Leads Universities” program, where students were introduced to its objectives, structure, and the opportunities it offers—particularly in the fields of entrepreneurship and freelancing. The program aims to equip young women with the practical skills and confidence needed to successfully enter the job market.

This initiative reflects the program’s commitment to nurturing a new generation of female leaders who are empowered to create meaningful change through learning, hands-on experience, and engagement with industry experts.

“She Leads Universities” program is implemented by the Youth Leaders Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the National Council for Women, and UN Women Egypt, within the framework of the “Empowering Egyptian Women” program, with support from the European Union.
